Guidebook content for Airstream ‘Dreamers’ to help make RVing more accessible to newcomers.

The Purpose

The dream of buying an Airstream and taking the great American road trip is an easy sell for many people. But when it comes down to it, if you’ve never owned an RV or travel trailer before, the logistics can be a little intimidating.

In Intro to RVing, we offer a deep dive into life on the road for beginners. Topics include how to select the right RV for your aspirations, the basics of towing and RV maintenance, and ideas for taking your first road trip.

Of course, we wanted readers to select an Airstream, but our research told us that many Airstream owners start out with a simpler, more basic model before committing to the iconic travel trailer – after all, buying an Airstream is truly a lifelong purchase, as over 70% of Airstreams ever constructed are still on the road today.
